Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, along with Members of Parliament and leaders from the Patriotic League of Uganda, discussed socio-economic challenges and coordinated activities for an upcoming Baraza event in the Greater Masaka region.

Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba yesterday 11^th March 2024 met Members of Parliament from the Greater Masaka region ahead of his visit to the area this month.

During the meeting, Gen. Kainerugaba and the lawmakers discussed socio-economic challenges in the region.

They also talked about how the activities of the forthcoming Baraza that will be held at Masaka Liberation Square in Masaka City on March 15 will be coordinated.

The MPs that met Gen. Kainerugaba include Juliet Kyinyamatama Suubi, the woman MP for Rakai district; Shartsi Musherure ( Mawogola North) and Twaha Kagabo (Bukoto South).

The activities for the Baraza where the General will be the chief guest are being coordinated by the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU).

Leaders from PLU, including Balaam Barugahara, Daudi Kabanda, Chairman Toyota Kaguta, Frank Gashumba and area MPs like the Minister of State for Microfinance Haruna Kasolo Kyeyune have been traversing districts in the region rallying residents about the Baraza.
