Uganda’s parliament has unanimously approved a law with harsher punishments for those who participate in same-sex acts.
The Bill was supported by 73% of all legislators.
After the Law was unanimously approved by Parliament, speaker Anita Among declared, “This House will not hesitate to restrict any right to the degree that the House respects, preserves, and safeguards the sovereignty, morals, and culture of our country.
