Airtel and Tecno Introduce SPARK 20 Pro+ in Partnership with StarTimes

Airtel Uganda, in collaboration with TECNO Mobile Uganda and StarTimes, has introduced the SPARK 20 Pro+ as part of the SPARK 20 Series. The launch event in Kampala was presided over by Chris Baryomunsi, the Minister of ICT and National Guidance. The initiative seeks to enhance accessibility to affordable smartphone devices in Uganda, with the ultimate goal of bridging the digital divide in the country.

Airtel Uganda, in conjunction with TECNO Mobile Uganda and StarTimes, has launched the SPARK 20 Pro+, an exciting addition to the popular SPARK 20 Series. Chris Baryomunsi, the Minister of ICT and National Guidance, presided over the inaugural event in Kampala. This collaborative project aims to make inexpensive smartphone devices more accessible to Ugandans and close the digital divide.

The SPARK 20 Pro+ is part of a revolutionary smartphone series and the most recent arrival into the ever-changing mobile device industry. The program responds to the increased demand for cell phones, converting them from a luxury item to a need in today’s digital age.

During the launch, Minister Baryomunsi emphasized the importance of smartphone ownership in the present digital world. He emphasized the government’s commitment to providing universal connection to all Ugandans, saying, “As a government and a Ministry, we encourage all technological efforts made by enterprises in this field. We support innovation, and the government aggressively encourages policies to legitimize communications and airwaves.”
