Electoral Commission Announces Over 10,000 Job Positions

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Uganda, established under Article 60 of the Constitution, has announced a nationwide recruitment drive to fill vacant positions within its structure.

The Ugandan Electoral Commission (EC), which was founded in accordance with Article 60 of the Constitution, has declared a statewide hiring campaign to cover open positions in its organisation.

The EC, mandated to oversee public elections and referenda, is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to serve as Sub-County and Parish Election Officers. These roles are crucial for the administration of Uganda’s electoral process, and the EC is looking for candidates with proven integrity, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering results.

Application Process

Interested applicants must submit hand-written or typed applications, specifying the position applied for and the district or area of interest. Applications must include a valid National ID (NIN), a comprehensive CV with two referees, and photocopies of academic certificates. These should be submitted to the District Election Administrators in the respective districts no later than Monday, 4th November 2024.
