Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba Meets Turkish Defence Company Karel to Discuss Latest Military Innovations

Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Chief of Defence Forces, met with officials from the Turkish defence company Karel at the Ministry of Defence in Kampala.

The Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, yesterday met with officials from the Turkish defence company Karel.

The meeting was held at the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs headquarters in Mbuya, Kampala.

According to a brief from the CDF’s office, “During the meeting, Karel officials presented their latest defence industry products.”

Karel Defence provides military communication solutions and warning and announcement systems for defence industries.

The company, established in 1986, has over 20 years of experience in providing solutions for military and defence applications.

Available records show the company has an annual income of $350 million dollars and employs 5,000 people.

Gen Muhoozi, who is also the Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations, welcomed the Karel officials to Uganda.
