Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba Meets with Aliko Dangote: Potential Investment in Uganda on The Horizon

Last week, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the senior presidential advisor for special operations, met with Mr. Aliko Dangote, the chairman of the Dangote Group and the richest man in Africa, at Dangote’s home in Lagos, Nigeria.

The senior presidential advisor for special operations Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba met Mr. Aliko Dangote at his home in Lagos, Nigeria.

According to a message released from Gen Kainerugaba’s office, Aliko is the richest man in Africa who is also the chairman of Dangote group & promised to visit Uganda soon.

“The Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations met Mr. Aliko Dangote, chairman of the Dangote Group and the richest man in Africa at his home in Lagos. They discussed Mr Dangote’s interest in investing in Uganda.”

General Muhoozi told him all areas are available for him to invest in and the government would welcome it. He promised to visit Uganda soon to assess the investment opportunities”

Mr Dangote, with an estimated net worth of over $10 billion is renowned for his ventures in cement production, sugar refining, and other businesses. His conglomerate, Dangote Group, operates not only in Nigeria but also in several African countries, including Ghana, Ethiopia, and South Africa.
