In observance of his 50th birthday on 24th April, 2024, the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF), General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, undertook acts of service by participating in the planting of 50 trees at one of the UPDF barracks.

General Kainerugaba, accompanied by soldiers from the Special Forces Command (SFC), engaged in the tree planting initiative at the Luttamaguzi Barracks in Kigungu, Entebbe. This activity symbolized both his birthday commemoration and his dedication to environmental conservation.

Accompanied by his spouse, Charlotte, his youngest daughter, and SFC personnel, General Muhoozi’s day of service extended to the inauguration of a new Neonatal Special Care Unit at the Dr. Ronald Bata Memorial Hospital in Entebbe. This medical facility is poised to provide critical care for prematurely born infants.
