The TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 final draw excited audiences on Wednesday night at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.

The star-studded event celebrated African unity and culture with electrifying performances that left attendees in awe.

Uganda’s globally acclaimed Ghetto Kids were the highlight of the night, closing the event with an unforgettable performance that brought dignitaries and guests to their feet.

Renowned for their vibrant choreography, the dance troupe delivered a show-stopping routine that perfectly embodied the spirit of African talent and resilience.

Taking the stage as the final act, the Ghetto Kids showcased their signature moves with unparalleled precision and joy. The crowd, comprising high-profile dignitaries and football enthusiasts from across the continent, was left yearning for more. The group was also a highlight at the recent CAF Awards in Morocco.

Speaking about the performance, their manager, Dauda Kavuma, expressed pride in the group’s accomplishment.

“The kids were so excited to perform for such an esteemed audience. This was a huge moment for them, and they gave it their all. To see the dignitaries on their feet and smiling was an unforgettable experience for the kids and for me as their manager,” Kavuma shared.

The Uganda Cranes were drawn in Group C alongside Niger, Guinea and two other yet-to-be named teams. The tournament was earlier this week postponed to August and will take place in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
