Instagram has launched a new feature that allows users to customize “Add Yours” templates with text, images, and GIFs, enabling the creation of meme-worthy Stories. Users can upload a story to the template, add personalized components, and then select the “Add Yours Templates” sticker to pin chosen elements.

With the help of a new feature that Instagram released, you can now customize “Add Yours” templates with text, images, and GIFs to create meme-worthy Stories that you can share with your followers.

Start by uploading a story to an Add Yours template, then add components like a GIF, personalized text, or a gallery image. After that, tap the sticker that says “Add Yours Templates” and choose the components you wish to pin. Although they can’t alter the options you chose, users who wish to share your template can add to it.

Global rollout of the new feature began today, 18^th December 2023.

The interactive Add Yours sticker was introduced in 2021 and allows you to post on your Story in response to other users’ prompts. The personalized templates are a fun addition to this feature. More creative expression and teamwork are now possible because anyone can now customize an Add Yours prompt. Similar to this, Instagram Reels debuted a “template browser” in July that allowed users to find and edit pre-made templates to use in their videos.

The photo-sharing app recently announced the availability of its generative AI-powered background editing tool in the United States, enabling users to alter their background through prompts.
