The Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs, Jacob Oboth-Oboth, has urged the newly-appointed Board of Directors of the National Enterprise Corporation (NEC) to prioritize the corporation’s growth and long-term sustainability while maintaining a strong commitment to their statutory responsibilities.

“I expect total accountability because accountability breeds acceptance and respectability by investors for the enterprise,” stated Hon. Oboth-Oboth. “Both business prosperity and accountability are at the forefront of every corporation’s strategic thinking, planning, and activity.”

Minister Oboth-Oboth made these remarks on Tuesday 23rd July, 2024 during the inauguration ceremony of the new Board of Directors of NEC, held at its headquarters in Bugoloobi, Kampala.
