UGhub is an Application and Data Integration Platform built by National Information Technology Authority Uganda [NITA-U] that enables data to be shared seamlessly across Government systems in a rational, secure, efficient and sustainable manner. The rationale for UGhub is to improve service delivery to citizens as well as enhance planning, decision making and reporting across Government agencies. With UGhub, both Government Entities and private organizations that have been enrolled to the platform have timely access to data and information and are able to coordinate with colleagues across different companies/ organizations. To date a total of 113 entities both public and private have been onboarded on the platform and 92,158,483 transactions have been carried out according to National Information Technology Authority Uganda [NITA-U]. The system also provides a centralized platform for data management, analysis and reporting, which helps to ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness.

UGhub ensures that data is accurate and consistent across all systems and platforms, reducing the risk of errors or inconsistencies.

UGhub provides a centralized platform for storing, managing, and sharing government data and documents across different government agencies and departments in Uganda. Authorized government officials can access and share documents and data without the need for physical transfer of documents. This can help streamline government operations, reduced visits to offices and save time. For example, if a person applies for a service from one government agency, such as a business registration certificate, the agency can use UGhub to access and verify the person’s information, such as their national ID number, which is stored in a centralized database.

Similarly, if a government agency needs to access a person’s medical records from another agency, they can use UGhub system to securely access and retrieve the relevant information. This has helped speed up the application process and eliminate the need for the person to submit the same information multiple times.

Say goodbye to moving around with your original documents.
