NRM Flags Off the Data Center Supervisors
The National Resistance Movement Secretariat has today officially dispatched a team of data centre supervisors to oversee the digitalization of the party’s membership register across the country.
The National Resistance Movement Secretariat formally sent a group of supervisors of data centres to supervise the nationwide digitisation of the party’s membership database yesterday 28th November 2024.
The initiative aims to ensure a clean, credible, and reliable voters’ register ahead of the upcoming elections for both party structure leaders and primary elections.
The exercise is to commence today November 28th 2024 and will run for 21 days and will operate in 20 established data centres located in major regions, including Kampala, Mbarara, Jinja, and Hoima, among others.
Supervisors will collaborate with zonal coordinators, IT officers, verification officers, and data entrants to ensure the seamless execution of this crucial project.
While flagging off the exercise at the NRM Secretariat headquarters, the Deputy Secretary General, Hon Rose Namayanja Nsereko, emphasized the party’s commitment to democracy through the maintenance of a clean voters’ register saying that the foundation of democracy lies in maintaining a clean register that guarantees credible internal elections.
