President Museveni Arrives in Russia for the Second Russia-Africa Summit
On 26th July 2023, H.E. Kaguta Yoweri Museveni, the President of Uganda, arrived in Saint Petersburg, Russia, to participate in the second Russia-Africa summit scheduled for July 27 and 28th, 2023.
H.E Kaguta Yoweri Museveni, the president of Uganda, landed in Saint Petersburg, a port city in Russia, on 26th July 2023 to participate in the second Russia-Africa summit, which takes place on July 27 and 28th, 2023.
The Russian Federation’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Bogdan Mikhail Lleonidovich, as well as numerous other senior government officials welcomed the President when he landed at Pulkovo International Airport in Saint Petersburg.
The bulk of the socioeconomic and political players on the continent, as well as the presidents of state and government of the great majority of African nations, will attend the Russia-Africa summit.
President Museveni and President Vladimir Putin will have private talks about issues of mutual importance to the Russian federation and Uganda during President Museveni’s visit to Russia.
