The President compared the progressive farmer to his co-teacher, who pays attention and follows instructions. “This is what I have been telling Ugandans, so I am very glad to be here with the vice president and the prime minister to witness the fulfillment of our Gospel. Thank you to the Aliamoi family. Simon and Peter are the ones that adhered to the gospel. You follow me, Jesus said, and together, we can build a new world. Some people had faith, while others didn’t, he noted.

One of the role models for farmers, Mr. Aliamoi Swaib, has invested in raising goats, oranges, and cassava on a 53-acre plot of land in Rhino Camp Town Council’s Abario Cell. The story of Mzee Swaib’s ascent through the financial system, according to Joan Aniku, a woman member of parliament from the Madi – Okollo District, began in 2015 after his big cassava crop harvest. Following President Museveni’s instruction to develop citrus fruits, the farmer entered the orange farming industry and planted more than 400 trees, which bring in more than $20 million (Uganda Shillings) per acre. Additionally, Mzee Swaib planted mango plants and expects to make about Sh40 million.

The farm’s earnings are helping Mr. Swaib to educate his kids. He has also built a permanent home, obtained a solar lighting system, and is the only family in the vicinity to have his home connected to a water line. President Museveni praised Mr. Swaib’s family once more for demonstrating the validity of the wealth creation gospel. “I am grateful to Mzee Swaib and family for validating our preaching. I now work with Mzee Swaib as a co-teacher. He follows my instructions when I speak. I’ll give him a tractor and a pickup for that,” the President promised.
The President agreed with the Member of Parliament to enhance the status of the roads to first class murram in response to some of the issues brought up by the Woman MP for the Madi – Okollo district, Hon. Joan Aniku, and instructed the Prime Minister to make sure that most of the roads in the region are being improved. “We have a proposal to build the road from Pakwach to Rifule along the Nile. “We’ll probably need some time, but we’ll start with the murram roads. That will be in the Prime Minister’s control,” he stated.
At Mr. Moses Obeta’s farm, where Mr. Agandru Alex had offered him 400 acres of land, President Museveni thanked the family for demonstrating to Ugandans how riches can be built via commercial enterprise. In Oyuu village, Anibi Parish, Rhino Camp sub-county, Mr. Obetia, a model farmer, raises goats, cows, and sheep. “Some individuals have said that Museveni is lying and is Enzo. I’m opposed to homelessness. I first started fighting against this in the 1960s. From the Tanzanian border all the way here, the livestock corridor presently runs. Currently, milk is exported to Algeria”, he said. With barbed wire and concrete poles that won’t rot from the soil or get eaten by ants, President Museveni promised to back Mr. Obetia.
