President Museveni Returns to Duty Following Recovery from COVID-19
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has returned to office after recovering from COVID-19. The President resumed his duties by traveling to State House-Entebbe to oversee a cabinet meeting. He had been in self-isolation at Nakasero State Lodge for eleven days after testing positive for the virus.
A day after stating that he had recovered from Covid-19, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Monday 19th June 2023 resumed his duties as Head of State.
On 19th June 2023, President Museveni went to State House-Entebbe to preside over the cabinet meeting after eleven (11) days of self-isolation at Nakasero State Lodge following a positive Covid-19 test.
Mama Janet Museveni, the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, was with him.
