Redevelopment works at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo, home to KCCA FC, are underway in preparation for the AFCON 2027 finals that Uganda will host with Kenya and Tanzania. The Minister of State for Education and Sports (Sports), Hon. Peter Ogwang, emphasized the need for timely completion during a visit to the facility.
Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has revealed plans to rehabilitate and upgrade over 15 kilometres of roads leading to Speke Resort Munyonyo ahead of the upcoming Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit and the Group of 77 Chambers of Commerce and Industry (G77) conference at Hotel Africana.
