President Museveni Inaugurates First-of-its-Kind Diagnostics Manufacturing Plant in Uganda

President Yoweri Museveni is today officially commissioning a groundbreaking diagnostic test kits manufacturing plant in Ntinda, Uganda. Owned by Microhaem Scientifics (MHS), the state-of-the-art facility is the first of its kind in the Great Lakes region. The plant, constructed in collaboration with technology transfer partners from China and the US, is expected to save Uganda over USD 100 million annually spent on importing test kits.
