Uganda U20 Women’s National Football Team Announces 35-Player Squad for 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers
Uganda’s U20 Women’s National Football team, under the leadership of head coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi, has announced a provisional squad of 35 players for preparations ahead of the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers. The team is set to face Mozambique in the first round of qualifiers scheduled from October 6th to 15th, 2023.

The Queen Cranes will face Mozambique at the first round of the qualification phase with games slated to be played from 6th to 15th October 2023. The squad entered residential camp on Monday sept 18th 2023 at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru. On the team is Patricia Nakato Nanyanzi of Rines SS, Sharifah Nakimera of Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, Patience Nabulobi of Kampala Queens fc, Charity Katusiime of Taffy High School, and Rebecca Nandhengo of Uganda Martyrs Lubaga women football club.
