Uganda’s Development and Security Bolstered by National Backbone Infrastructure and CCTV Project: President Museveni Affirms
President Museveni emphasized the crucial role of the National Backbone Infrastructure and CCTV project in advancing Uganda’s development and security. A delegation including ministers and Huawei representatives updated him on the project’s progress at State House Entebbe.

President Museveni on 24th August 2023 echoed that in a significant stride towards enhancing Uganda’s development and security, the National Backbone Infrastructure and CCTV project has continued to play a pivotal role.
A delegation comprising of the Ministers of Internal Affairs and ICT, alongside representatives from Huawei Technologies, visited President Museveni at State House Entebbe, where they provided a comprehensive update on the project’s progress.

“The National Backbone Infrastructure and CCTV project remain very fundamental to the development and security of Uganda,” President Museveni said.
